Opportunities to Serve

The strength of any community or organization lies in the ability and willingness of its

members to serve the greater good of the community. This is ultimately more important

than financial contributions because financial contributions will flow out of the

members’ desire to give of their time and abilities. A church is maybe the epitome of

this truism because Jesus as the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), was

the ultimate servant, to the point of death on a cross.

We encourage you, our members and friends to look periodically

at this section and see where you can help out. We are stronger when you role up your

sleeves. Click below for our current opportunities.

  • Volunteers are needed for projection and camera operations for Sunday services. These are critical positions since the effectiveness of the worship service both in the sanctuary and live on

our YouTube channel depends on the consistency of this function. Training will be provided. Please contact Dick at dick@hopebozeman.com for further information.

  • (2 positions): Hope Lutheran is a partner congregation with Love INC. Persons in this position attend monthly meetings at Love INC (meal provided) to review current activities. The CMC then communicates opportunities to serve, at Love INC, with the Hope congregation. Contact Dick at dick@hopebozeman.com for more information.

  • The person in this position will be responsible to solicit for, and coordinate volunteers to serve at the Fork & Spoon. Training will be provided on how to use the online scheduling software in Community Church Builder (CCB) at Hope. Please contact Dick at dick@hopebozeman.com for more information.

  • (2 positions): The persons in these positions will be responsible to understand all facets on our property outside of the building, and to work closely with the Property Committee and the facilities manager (Jack) in helping to make sure the grounds are properly cared for. For more information contact Jack at jack@hopebozeman.com.
