Opportunities to Serve

The strength of any community or organization lies in the ability and willingness of its

members to serve the greater good of the community. This is ultimately more important

than financial contributions because financial contributions will flow out of the

members’ desire to give of their time and abilities. A church is maybe the epitome of

this truism because Jesus as the pioneer and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), was

the ultimate servant, to the point of death on a cross.


We encourage you, our members and friends to look periodically

at this section and see where you can help out. We are stronger when you role up your

  • Volunteers are needed for projection and camera operations for Sunday services. These are critical positions since the effectiveness of the worship service both in the sanctuary and live on

    our YouTube channel depends on the consistency of this function. Training will be provided. Please contact Dick at dick@hopebozeman.com for further information.

  • The person in this position will be responsible to solicit for, and coordinate volunteers to serve at the Fork & Spoon. Training will be provided on how to use the online scheduling software in Community Church Builder (CCB) at Hope. Please contact Dick at dick@hopebozeman.com for more information.

  • (2 positions): The persons in these positions will be responsible to understand all facets on our property outside of the building, and to work closely with the Property Committee and the facilities manager (Jack) in helping to make sure the grounds are properly cared for.   • This a seasonal duty during garden time. The current coordinator got us through planting but needs to step back. Please click on this link for more information about responsibilities. You may also contact Anne Schaeffer at (206) 819-4679 to learn more.

  • 1. Connection Center Receptionist – answers phone and other inquiries from

    potential or current Love INC clients, and helping the caller connect with correct

    Love INC resource.

    2. Budget Assessors – often times a Love INC client needs a budget review to be

    eligible for benefits. In this position you will review the budget of the potential

    client. This usually takes about an hour with the client, and the schedule

    depends on that of you and the client.

    3. Close Closet helper – these are two-hour shifts, working in Love INC’s Clothes

    Closet help clients find clothing. The Clothes Closet is in Belgrade.

    4. Change You Life (CYL) class facilitators and coaches needed for fall class

    enrollment.

    All Love INC volunteers undergo an orientation session either online or in person. The

    next in-person orientation sessions are on Tuesday, August 13, at 5:45 pm (dinner

    provided) and Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 11:45 am (Lunch provided). Sorry, no food
