Hope’s worship music draws from a wide variety of styles, both familiar and new, in the Christian tradition, singing the story of God and Christ through many expressions. Everyone is welcome to participate in music at Hope Lutheran Church! Through our choir, band, and special music opportunities, both new musicians and experienced pros have space to learn, grow, and serve through music. To get involved in music at Hope Lutheran, contact Director of Worship & Music Maren Haynes Marchesini.
Worship Ensembles
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir welcomes singers of all parts, ages, and experience levels to join. We rehearse weekly and sing a full program of music in worship once per month and for special services. Singing together is an invigorating, heart-expanding practice that draws us together as a community, uplifts the congregation, and brings us closer to one another and to God.

Worship Band: The Laity
Solo and backup singers, guitarists, drummers, bass players, ukulele players, and instrumentalists of all kinds are welcome to join our Hope Lutheran worship band. The band rehearses Wednesday evenings and plays in worship once a month. The band rotates, so commitment varies. We play contemporary worship, indie rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, and beyond! God rejoices in our creativity!

Special Music
Bring musical color to our worship services as a soloist or ensemble! Special musicians of all ages and genres are invited to offer instrumental or vocal music for contemplation during worship. We provide an accompanist if needed.
Play in worship a few times a year, or inquire about special ensembles.
Hope Handbells
The Hope Handbell Choir plays at special services throughout the church year. We are fortunate to have a 4 octave set of beautiful handbells and a 2 octave set of chimes, so there are plenty of bell/chime spots available for anyone to play! If you're interested in joining, please reach out to Maren Haynes Marchesini, Music Director.
