Welcome to hope lutheran church

At Hope Lutheran we share God’s unconditional love as we commit to

being a welcoming place of compassion, safety, and racial equity where

all members of our diverse community can worship and become

involved. We celebrate and affirm persons of every gender identity,

gender expression, sexual orientation, culture, race, political leanings,

body type, marital status, education, and physical and mental ability.

Whether your faith in God is strong, wavering, curious, or non-existent

we seek joy, appreciation, and companionship in one another’s

presence. Together we gather in communion with God, striving to grow

in our faith so that we may go out and live God’s love in the world.

A message from pastor heidi

Hope Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has been a part of the Bozeman community for over 100 years.  Here at Hope, we strive to connect our faith in God with the life we lead here in the Gallatin Valley and beyond.  In this community of Hope, we gather to share, learn, and grow in our faith so that we are equipped to go out into the community to serve our neighbor in Jesus’ name.  Hope also serves as a community connecting point for over 90 organizations in our valley.

If you are looking for a place to connect, Hope is  the place for you!  We would love for you to come and explore how you can connect: worship, bible studies, small groups, music, youth group, serving at the Fork and Spoon or Mobile Soup Kitchen, quilting and knitting, and so many other opportunities.   There is a place at Hope Lutheran for you!

The registration fee is $300, but there are scholarships available for anyone that needs it.
