The Creation Care Team is planning to tour this ranch on June 29 from 3:00-6:00. Please contact Roland Kroos @ kroosing@msn.com if you have any questions or want to attend! North Bridger Bison is located approximately 40 miles NE of Bozeman, just 1/2 mile of Hwy 86 (29525 Muddy Creek Road, Wilsall, Montana, 59086. What can you expect to see/learn on this tour: - approximately 150 bison grazing the land. (lots of baby bison calves) - wild flowers galore - learn how Matt manages the land and the herd of bison. - How often does he move this herd of bison? - How difficult is it to move this many bison from one pasture to another? - And any other questions you might have. - see how the grass responds to being grazed. - abundant wildlife - Matt and Roland will talk about how we monitor land health and practice regenerative grazing practices. We will tour the pastures using 4-wheel drive vehicles. This tour is for everyone (young children and elderly people are welcome). No dogs will be allowed on the tour. We will walk (short distances) out in the pasture to see the abundant diversity that exists on the landscape. We will also make sure we maintain a safe distance from the bison herd.
