We will meet at the church at 9 am that day and ride up together to Robin's place. We will have a potluck salad lunch and then head back to town about 2:30. More details to come! For this retreat, we will be talking about the book called "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" by Joanna Weaver. This book is an easy read that is very well-written and has a great message for each of us. When you read this book, you will see how women today aren't all that different from Mary and Martha in the New Testament. In her own way she shows us how we can all draw closer to our Lord, deepen our devotion, strengthen our service, and do all that with less stress and greater joy. Doesn't that sound like something we all need to hear!
