John Hermanson, Artist-in-Residence at the Hope Center for the Arts, is an award-winning folksong composer and platinum-selling recording artist from Bozeman, MT. Raised in the Lutheran church and rooted in prophetic and mystical traditions, John's sacred music raises ancient yet urgent questions about radical love and mutual responsibility, written in his compelling, distinctive folk style. At Wild Goose Festival 2025, John presents a concert and hymn sing featuring his original music centered on the prophetic words of Isaiah. He is joined onstage by musicians Megan Makeever and Maren Marchesini.
